Lying & Fabricating
With much sadness, I have to say that there is no other day in the whole year when the lies spoken are more than the Day of ʿĀshūrāʾ. Unauthentic and fabricated narrations are made up and are widespread among the public, compelling them to cry by speaking lies and fabricating stories and by narrating those stories of tyranny and oppression which in reality, never took place, their occurrence has no reality on this planet but these people fabricated them and now they are narrated [to the public]. And here, I say to those people who call themselves sunnī, bring īmān on Ṣaḥābah, especially on the four rightly guided caliphs, I say to them that you also ask sincere forgiveness and leave narrating false narrations so you may then become able to stop other people from narrating false narrations as well.
If you will keep on narrating, mentioning in your books and mentioning on the pulpit, the false narrations, in regards to wasīlah and the grave of Nabī, then [the result would be that] you won't be able to stop them from narrating fifty thousand false narrations because of you narrating ten to fifty such narrations. They will say that the reason they spread falsehood is due to you narrating one fabricated narration, they too will use the same excuse and blame you when they proudly narrate fifty thousand such fabricated narrations. They will also say when your one fabricated narration can be accepted then why not theirs? When you narrate false narrations in the name of making ziyārah of the grave of Nabī, you fabricate and mention them on the pulpit and you assume that in this is the honor of the Nabī and his grave, then those people say why can't they mention false narrations in the name of love of Janāb Ḥusayn, Janāb ʿAlī, Āl al-Bayt! My brothers, the principle will stay the same for all, neither we will narrate false narrations nor they will. Because Nabī said :
“Whoever deliberately makes me responsible for something which I have not said in reality, then his abode is Jahannum.” Therefore, stay away from false narrations.
