Whom to Trust?
Many people say "We don't understand whom should we trust, should we trust the ones who wail or the other party?" Allāh is telling you with whom you should be! Those who receive hardship in an honorable manner . Allāh said these are the ones on whom Allāh's Raḥmah is revealed and they are the one upon guidance.
And my brothers, when the Nabī's son Janāb Ibrāhīm died, the Nabī was holding him in his arms and tears were coming out.
Some people said, “O Rasūlullāh even you are crying!? Tears are falling from YOUR eyes!?” At that moment the Nabī said, that it is Allāh's Raḥmah which He has placed in our hearts. His son was dying and he was crying but he didn't raise his voice neither did he tear up his shirt nor did he slap the cheeks, nor did he say such words like "O Allāh! You took away my previous sons also and this last one is also being taken by you! My generation won't stay! Who will become my inheritor? What people will say to me? People will taunt me!" No, he didn't say any such words. Rather he said
“O Ibrāhīm! The sadness of your separation is there, but not a single such word will come out of my mouth by which Allāh may be displeased.”
